Medical Fitness Specialist

Medical Fitness is an exercise prescription for optimizing your health. Keeping a strong and healthy body gives you an advantage in life. Medical fitness includes exercise prescriptions for managing heart health, diabetes, cancer diagnosis, osteoporosis, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, capable aging and more.
We work with your health care practitioners to develop a health care plan that will improve overall health and focus on areas of concern for managing chronic disease, post surgical intervention or injury.
Meghan has been a certified Personal Trainer since 2003 and upgraded her education to become a certified Medical Fitness Practitioner in 2022. She completed specialty training in Osteoporosis Fitness (2023) as well as Joint Replacement Fitness (2024) and also works directly with with a local physiotherapist to provide treatment plans for clients and their specific medical fitness needs.
Medical Fitness is usually one-on-one appointments, but we do offer specialized group training for commonalities for cost effective medical fitness training.
